You typically pick up your project by way of an external hard drive as the files are fairly large. For every 1 hour of video you will have a file that is 6-9GB in size. Region codes for DVD's
There are 7 region codes for DVD's made all around the world primarily because there were different resolutions in TV broadcasts. The broadcasters set up multimillion dollar broadcast systems in the early 60's and 70's and were not going to change them until we adapted HD in the late 90s. Since then we now have Blu-Ray discs and to my understanding they too have region codes for Games but not for Video so your discs will play nearly anywhere in the world. If you have a DVD made in North America it will only play here unless it is played on a computer that you change the region code on or a DVD Region free machine. what is the 7th region code you ask? Cruise ships, had their own region code and broadcast standard.
